Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most.

Getting started

What is Common Competitive Course?

Common Competitive Course is a learning platform for students preparing for competitive examinations. It brings structured courses, study material, practice tests, mock tests, previous-year papers, important questions and performance tracking together in one place.

Which exams can I prepare for?

Preparation is organised under eight headings: SSC, Banking, Railway, UPSC, State Government Exams, Police & Defence, Teaching Exams and Other Competitive Exams. You choose your target exam when you create your account, and you can browse the others from the Exams section of the home page.

How do I get started?

Create an account with your mobile number, choose your target exam, then begin with the study material and a practice test. Your dashboard keeps track of everything from there. You can create your account here.

Do I need an account just to look around?

No. You can browse the website, try the sample question on the home page, and look around the student portal with “Continue as Student” on the login page. You need an account to save your results and track your progress.

Tests & results

How do mock tests work?

Mock tests follow the style of the real exam: a countdown timer, a question palette, and the option to mark a question for review. When you submit, you see your score and how you performed.

What are time-based tests?

Time-based tests are short, timed sets that build your speed and accuracy. They are a good way to practise managing the clock before you attempt a full mock test.

Where can I see my results?

Your dashboard shows the total number of tests, tests attempted, average score, accuracy and rank, along with your recent tests and a performance graph.

Are previous-year papers included?

Yes. Previous-year papers and important questions are part of the learning modules for each exam, so you can practise with questions that match the real pattern.

Account & access

I forgot my password. What should I do?

On the login page choose “Forgot password?”, then enter the email address or mobile number on your account. If an account matches, we will send you the next steps to reset your password. You can also start the reset here.

Can I log in with my mobile number or email?

Yes. The login field accepts your email address, your 10-digit mobile number or your username, together with your password.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The website works on phones, tablets and computers, in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. For long tests, a stable internet connection is recommended.

Is my information safe?

We ask only for the details needed to run your account and track your preparation, and we do not sell personal information. Please read our Privacy Policy for the details. For your own safety, never share your password with anyone, including us.

Are you connected to the exam authorities?
